Day 1: DEPART THE UNITED STATES
Depart your hometown and take an overnight flight across the Atlantic. Enjoy inflight entertainment and meal service as you travel to start your vacation.

Day 2: DUBLIN ARRIVAL
After landing at Dublin Airport complete customs and immigration formalities. Your CIE Tours driver/guide will welcome you to Ireland and escort you and your luggage to the coach. Next set off on an orientation drive around Dublin city center. See the main thoroughfares of OConnell Street Nassau Street and some lovely public parks as you pass by many historical sites. Stop to visit Trinity College to see the Book of Kells an 8th century illuminated manuscript of the gospels and the Old Library. Motor a short distance to your hotel check in and enjoy the balance of the day free for individual pursuits and dining.

Day 3: SEANS BAR
This morning drive into Athlone and stop at Seans Bar Irelands oldest Pub to enjoy a drink with your fellow travelers. Then journey into Galway and join a local guide for a gentle walking tour of the city. See the medieval city walls Lynchs Castle and the narrow streets. Continue your travel into Westport check into your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Tonight you might like to dine in one of the many traditional or modern dinner venues scattered around the town.

Day 4: ATLANTIC SHEEPDOGS
Today travel to visit Atlantic Sheepdogs where you will have the opportunity to experience farm life and see some of the worlds smartest sheepdogs working in their natural environment. Next set off on a panoramic tour of County Donegal which is renowned for wool production. Continue your drive into Ardara and stop to visit Triona Designs to see demonstrations of spinning weaving and knitting. After journey into Letterkenny check into your hotel and enjoy some free time to freshen up before meeting your group for dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Day 5: GIANTS CAUSEWAY
Leaving Letterkenny journey into Derry and join a local guide for a walking tour to see the Guildhall St. Columbs Cathedral the Diamond and the 16th century walls. Then continue on to visit the Giants Causeway an impressive area of hexagonal columns formed over 60 million years ago by cooling lava which has given rise to many legends. Transfer to your hotel in Belfast check in and settle into your room. You might like to relax or freshen up before tonights festivities.This evening head to The Crosskeys Inn to enjoy an authentic Irish dinner with your group.

Day 6: BELFAST SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast set off on a panoramic tour of Belfast to see the Albert Memorial the Opera House and Crown Liquor Saloon. Travel along such routes that may include Donegall Street the famed Great Victoria Street and even along the waterfront. Stop to visit Titanic Belfast to learn about the evolution of the Titanic from concept until her illfated end in 1912. Return to your hotel and spend the rest of the day free to sightsee shop and dine on your own.

Day 7: BELFAST TO DUBLIN
Departing Belfast drive through Irelands rolling hills into Carlingford and stop to enjoy some free time for independent shopping and sightseeing around the coastal town. Continue your travel into Dublin check into your hotel and spend some time at leisure to freshen up before this evenings farewell festivities. Tonight drive to the Merry Ploughboy Pub for dinner followed by a lively show of traditional Irish songs dancing and music.

Day 8: DUBLIN DEPARTURE
All too soon your tour in Ireland has come to its final day. Transfer to Dublin Airport in good time to check in for your independently arranged flight to Scotland. All CIE Tour services conclude.
