Day 1: SEANS BAR
Today meet your CIE Tours driver/guide at a TBD location in Dundalk before boarding your luxury motorcoach. Next drive into Athlone and stop at Seans Bar Irelands oldest Pub to enjoy a drink with your fellow travelers. Continue your travel through Irelands rolling hills into Galway check into your hotel and spend the balance of the day free for individual pursuits and dining. This evening you will have a transfer to and from the city centre to enjoy the nightlife.
Day 2: GALWAY AT LEISURE
Enjoy the day completely at leisure to relax or sightsee on your own in Galway. You might like to visit the Galway Aquarium Bunowen Castle or simply walk through Eyre Square. You may also like to head into Salthill to explore around the seaside area independently. In the evening you will have a transfer to and from the city to enjoy the exciting nightlife Galway has to offer. You may like to grab an independent bite to eat at one of the restaurants or pubs in the area.
Day 3: CLIFFS OF MOHER
Leaving Galway drive along the coast of scenic County Clare to visit the Cliffs of Moher one of Irelands most beloved natural landmarks. See magical vistas overlooking the shimmering Atlantic Ocean along with Irelands Western coastline. Next take a short ferry ride across the River Shannon Estuary before continuing your journey into Killarney. Upon arrival set off on a horsedrawn jaunting car ride through the grounds of the Killarney National Park. Motor a short distance to your hotel check in and spend the balance of the day at leisure. This evening you might like to dine in one of the many traditional or modern dinner venues scattered around the charming town.
Day 4: DINGLE PENINSULA DRIVE
After breakfast discover the beauties of the Dingle Peninsula once described by the National Geographic Traveler as the most beautiful place on earth. Drive along the south shore of the peninsula for plenty of vistas of heathery mountains sandy stretches of beach stunning green landscapes and rocky headlands. Pause at strategic locations to admire the views and take photos. Continue on to Slea Head at the western tip of the peninsula. This excursion will give you excellent views of mountains and coastline and looking over to the Iveragh Peninsula. After drive into Dingle town and stop to enjoy some free time to explore the area on your own. Dingle is an area situated below Slievanea Mountain and faces comfortably onto the sheltered harbor. As a market town and fishing port Dingle has long been well supplied with pubs and opportunities to hear traditional Irish music. Head back to your hotel in Killarney and spend the rest of the day free to sightsee shop and dine on your own.
Day 5: END OF CIE TOUR
Departing Killarney drive into Blarney where you can climb the battlements of Blarney Castle and kiss the famous Stone of Eloquence. Continue your journey through Irelands green pastures into Dublin where your driver/guide will bid you farewell. Check into your hotel and enjoy the balance of the day free for independent exploring and dining. All CIE Tour services conclude.
