Day 1: Welcome to Edinburgh
A local Scottish host will give you and your fellow travelers a walking tour to orient you to the city today. Your host will get you started, offering plenty of tips to point you in the right direction and giving you the know-how to make the most of your time in the city. You have three days of access to Edinburgh’s “Hop-On, Hop-Off” tour bus to see more of the city at your own pace, with easy on-and-off access.Day 2: The Edinburgh Tour
On the second day, a private concierge, exclusively for you and your fellow travelers, will meet you in your hotel lobby to help you with planning out your days in Edinburgh and maximize your fun. You might choose to take the time on your third day for the wonderful Majestic Tour which takes you north of the city center towards the port of Leith. Can’t-miss highlights include the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, The Royal Yacht Britannia, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. And don’t forget to celebrate New Year’s Eve tonight with “Hogmanay” – the traditional Scottish commemoration of the New Year – no one revels in it like the Scots! Edinburgh leads the way with the largest and most famous celebration of all. Thousands of visitors come from all over the world to party in the streets. Choose how to spend your time this evening: soak in the joyous atmosphere of the city, have a pint in one of the lively pubs, watch the fireworks over the castle at midnight. Edinburgh will be abuzz!Day 4: City Sightseeing
On your fourth day, check out all the other terrific sights in this vibrant cultural capital.
