2019/2020 Getawayr: Easy Edinburgh 5 Days/4 Nights
Day 1: Welcome to Edinburgh
A local host will meet you in the lobby at 2 PM to give you a walking tour to orient you to the city today. Your host will get you started, offering plenty of tips to point you in the right direction and giving you the know-how to make the most of your time in the city. You have three days of access to Edinburgh’s “Hop-On, Hop-Off” tour bus to see more of the city at your own pace, with easy on-and-off access.
Day 2: Independent Sightseeing
On the second day, your host, will meet you in your hotel lobby at 9:00 AM to help you with planning out your days in Edinburgh and maximize your fun. You may choose which of your included vouchers to use today to visit one of the capitol’s incredible attractions, such as The Edinburgh Tour: Learn much more about this fantastic city, with this amazing in-depth tour covering the city center with a knowledgeable guide, taking in spectacular buildings such as Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish Parliament, the Georgian architecture of New Town and much more.
Day 3: Independent Sightseeing
You might choose to take the time on your third day for the wonderful Majestic Tour which takes you north of the city center towards the port of Leith. Can’t-miss highlights include the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, The Royal Yacht Britannia, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Day 4: City Sightseeing
On your fourth day, check out all the other terrific sights in this vibrant cultural capital. This Hop-On, Hop-Off route covers all the main attractions you may have missed, and includes a special Horrible Histories commentary for kids of all ages who want their history with the gory bits left in!
Day 5: Return Home
Your tour ends after breakfast.
