Day 1: Glasgow Arrival
Your tour departs from your hotel at 2:00 PM. Your hotel for the next four nights is in the heart of Glasgow’s vibrant West End near the Botanic Gardens. Take a panoramic tour of the city, famed for its Victorian and Art Nouveau architecture. Once a prosperous port city due to international trade and shipbuilding, today Glasgow is Scotland’s cultural hub. Enjoy a welcome drink with your group and dinner at your hotel.

Day 2: Culzean Castle & Clydeside Distillery
Travel to Culzean Castle, a grand, centuries-old castle that includes an apartment given to General Eisenhower as a gesture of thanks for America’s support in World War II. Tour the beautifully furnished castle and have lunch there. Return to Glasgow for a visit to the Clydeside Distillery, a gleaming new establishment in a historic building on the Queen’s Dock in the heart of the city. Your evening is free to dine as you wish.

Day 3: Isle of Bute & Mount Stuart House
Take a scenic ferry ride to the Isle of Bute, with its sweeping coastal views and lush island landscapes. Step into the grandeur of the 19th-century Mount Stuart House on a guided tour, marveling at its opulent interiors and fascinating history of innovation. Stroll through the charming seaside town of Rothesay – perhaps sampling local treats or exploring the Victorian-era promenade. Return to Glasgow for a free evening.

Depart Glasgow for Edinburgh today, where you’ll take a panoramic tour through the medieval Old Town and elegant New Town – both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Take in grand views of the city from the iconic Edinburgh Castle, dramatically perched atop a bed of volcanic rock. Tour the castle, home of the Scottish Crown Jewels. Your afternoon and evening are yours to explore this exciting city as you please. (Departures from August 16 – 23 will attend the thrilling spectacle of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, with reserved seats on the castle esplanade.
