Day 1: Adare | Welcome Dinner
Pick up your Hertz rental car when you arrive at the airport. The Dunraven, Adare, your home for the next five nights is a luxury, family-run hotel in the heart of Adare, one of Ireland's prettiest villages. Adare's history stretches back to the 12th century, and the hotel is one of oldest in Ireland, dating back to the 18th century. Explore the town to see its beautiful historic buildings and charming thatched cottages. In the evening, dine at Aunty Lena's Bar

Day 2: Cliffs of Moher | The Burren
Drive to the Cliffs of Moher, stunning sea cliffs that tower above churning Atlantic swells. Proceed on to the Burren, an incredible landscape of glacial-era limestone dotted with cliffs, caves, and unique flowers and wildlife. You might want to explore some of the scenic villages in the area, such as Ballyvaughan or Doolin. Dine in your hotel in Adare this evening.

Day 3: Ring of Kerry Highlights | Jaunting Car Ride | Killarney
Depart for a scenic drive through the highlights of the famous Ring of Kerry, taking in the rugged coastline and mountainous landscapes. Admire the scenery at Ladies View, so named because Queen Victoria's ladies-in-waiting were charmed by the vista on the Queen's visit to Ireland in 1861. You might choose to stop in the stunning Gap of Dunloe for a visit to Moriarty's, our CIE Tours preferred Shopping Partner. Enjoy some free time in the charming town of Kenmare. Head to Killarney, where you will travel via jaunting car to view the lakes and enjoy a photo opportunity at the picturesque Ross Castle before having some free time to explore the town independently. Continue on back to Adare where you will dine in your hotel.

Day 4: Dingle Peninsula
Travel to the rugged mountainous landscapes of the Dingle Peninsula, described by National Geographic as 'the most beautiful place on earth'. Many people speak Irish in this stronghold of traditional culture. Be sure to check out Dingle town, a charming port town of old fashioned shops, its best known resident is Fungie, a playful dolphin who has lived in the harbor for decades. Return to Adare where your evening is free to explore and dine independently.

Day 5: Cobh | Blarney Castle
Drive to Cobh, a charming harbor town that was the last port of call for the Titanic in 1912. Condé Nast recently named it as one of the 25 most beautiful small towns in Europe, praising 'its rows of candy-colored homes along the water and towering cathedral standing sentry over the harbor'. Millions of emigrants left that harbor in the 19th and 20th centuries, when it was the main point of embarkation for ships going to America. Visit the Cobh Heritage Centre to explore this fascinating history. Proceed to Blarney Castle to climb the winding staircase to kiss the famous stone and earn the legendary gift of the gab, or simply stroll through the gardens. Return to your hotel for dinner

Day 6: Independent Dublin Sightseeing
Drive to Dublin, where you will explore independently via a Hop On Hop Off bus tour. See all the city's highlights with the freedom to stop off to explore further as you please. Your Hop On Hop Off bus ticket also gives you admission to the Little Museum of Dublin, an old Georgian townhouse with a fantastic collection of 5,000 objects telling the story of the city. Plus you will have a voucher to admit you to one of Dublin's top attractions. Choose from Guinness Storehouse, a seven storey attraction telling the story of Dublin's iconic brew, complete with a pint in the Gravity Bar on the top floor, Teeling Distillery, the first new whiskey distillery to open in Dublin in 125 years, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, telling the story of the people who left Ireland and how they shaped the world (winner of Europe's Leading Tourist Attraction in 2019), or the GPO Museum, innovatively detailing the fascinating story of the 1916 Rising, the pivotal event that led to Ireland's independence. Your evening is free to explore Dublin's fine restaurants or lively pubs. Your hotel is in the historic Liberties section of the city, near the Guinness Storehouse and St Patricks Cathedral.
